After locating an appropriate signal base it was brought back to the shop. Given the good condition of the 16' aluminum mast that came with it, the decision was made to use a salvaged traffic light mast of the same diameter, reserving the crossing signal mast for a crossing signal, shown HERE. I pulled a traffic signal post from an earlier preservation project and it was given a new life. |
